7/2/08:  We have moved into a new larger & more accessible studio at the Carefree Resort. We will be posting our new Summer & Fall 2008 workshop & class schedule in the next few days. The new location features a complete professional glass coldworking studio.  Additional kilns and studio equipment have been added to the new location.  This location is handicap accessible.

7/2/08: Special three day workshop has been added for July 25-27, 2008.  "Have A Blast With Glass".  A three day course taught by 3 fantastic glass artists:  Peggy Pettigrew Stewart, Keith Jones, & Jean Lutz. This is a rare opportunity to work with these talented artists, and learn their special techniques in reverse (intaglio) carving.  This class will teach sandblasting, sandcarving, painting, metal inlay, combined with slumping and some fusing. The "River To The Sea" vessel (above) is a sample.  Class size is limited.  "GLASS BOTTLES & MORE"  with JEAN LUTZ.  This is a brand new course created by this talented artist!  Join Jean for a day of creativity and fun. Recycle your glass bottles into functional and decorative items for your home & garden. Learn to decorate slumped bottles to create: chees trays, spoon rests, wind chimes, key holders, sun catchers, plates, and much more!  You will have an opportunity to decorate your bottles using techniques that include: drilling holes, sandblasting, applying special glass paints and using the kiln.  .  Email Jean for more information @ jlutz@cableone.net

Jean Lutz:  A very talented glass & ceramics artist from Prescott Arizona. Jean will be teaching several new workshops at the studio. Mike & Ryan Apfel from Nipomo California. They will be teaching their fabulous Iridized Glass processes. Includes: sandblasting, sandwhich, and more. PLUS their fabulous shaping and creating with the ring saw and sandblaster. Their beautiful work is available in our gallery.
